And some actually go ahead and do the hard thing – WORK OUT! And their results speak for themselves!

3. Sometime all we need is a little help!

Yes, the effort has to come from inside. But a little bit of external help can go a long long way! As she reports, “I have to admit, I couldn’t lose weight myself for a very, very long time. A really professional doctor helped me a lot.”

4. Patience is the key!

This isn’t gonna be a one day thing. You won’t just get in shape overnight. It takes hard work and dedication, and yes, patience! Results take time. As this woman explains, “The difference between these photos is 25 months. I had always been fat, so I decided that I could lose weight.”

5. Your hard work will pay off!

via

We understand if you doubt that this is the same person. But the truth is, that’s how much of difference hard work and dedicated work out can make. And hard work will pay off, sooner rather than later. As he explains, “3 years between these photos. Some people don’t believe that it’s me.”

6.  From nerd to macho!

via

No, we don’t have anything against nerds. But after working on his physique, this man realized that you can be whoever you want on the inside, while being an Adonis on the outside. He recalls, “The difference is just 4 years. I was a nerd, and now I’m a macho.”

7. Setting goals for yourself is the key!

via

Instead of going for too much too soon, you should work on smaller targets. As he tells, “My weight was 330 lb when I finally decided to start losing weight. On my first day, I stopped eating bread and sugar and went to the gym. I also stopped drinking alcohol for 3 months (unfortunately, I continued to drink from time to time later). In the photo on the right, my weight is 220 lb. Now I keep myself at this mark, and I am very satisfied. But now I have a new goal – 180 lb. I’ve started my way to it! I wish you luck too.”

8. The support of your loved ones can help a lot!

via

If you have your loved ones inspiring you and helping you stay motivated, it becomes a lot easier to stay positive and keep going. Working out and bringing a change in yourself isn’t just about the physical effort, it takes a lot of mental strength as well! As this man’s girlfriend says, “This is my boyfriend at the age of 16 and 21. It’s hard to tell that it’s the same person.”

9. You don't have to wait until it's too late.

via

Just because you are not in as bad a shape, doesn’t mean you can’t still work on getting better. The sooner you begin, the sooner you will get results. It’s all about getting started. “I didn’t use to be really fat. I had a hard time choosing the right hairstyle,” says this guy!

10. The destination makes the journey worth the while!

via

The journey is long and tough. It takes time, lots of effort and lots of sweat. But when you finally reach your targets, the satisfaction can not be expressed in words. The fruit of your hard work will make you truly happy. As this girl explains, “It took me 2 years and 3 months to get in shape. It sounds like a lot of time, but it was well worth it.”

11. It can change your entire outlook towards life!

via

It’s not just about your physical condition or health getting better with working out, working on your appearance also helps your mental health as well as confidence. Something similar happened with this girl as she tells, “So much has changed in 3 years! Before, I didn’t get out much. I was very shy. Now we live in a time when changing your appearance is very easy.

12. It isn't all buffing up or leaning down, sometimes it is about making peace with yourself!

via

This guy tells his story as, “I started reading all the time. I read a lot. This is how I started changing psychologically and emotionally. What about my appearance – I started losing hair very early. For most men, it’s a thing they worry about. But after a year of military service, I got used to being bald, and after I returned home, I started shaving my head and grew a beard. This is how I found the answer for me.”

13. Recognizing what's holding you back is the key!

via

We all have certain things in life that hold us back from being healthy, it could be some eating habit, it could be some lifestyle decisions or it could even be a person. Getting rid of the problem is a must. That is exactly what happened with this lad, “I restored what was destroyed by 20 years of McDonald’s and Coke.”

14. Sometimes, a change of scene helps!

via

This guy’s story is a testament to that – “My parents got divorced, and I lived with my grandmother for a long time. I was surrounded by women. It was bad for me. I was bullied in school. And I was fat. After that, I moved, and I entered college. I was scared of being bullied again, so I tried to meet a lot of people, and I wanted to be very communicative. I made true friends, and they helped me to have a more active lifestyle. That’s how I managed to lose weight. Now I can communicate with any person.”

15.  It becomes much easier to accept other aspects of you that you were afraid of once!

via

It’s simple, if you are good at one thing, it overshadows your apparent shortcomings in others. It gives us the strength to accept ourselves for who we really are. Something similar happened to this girl who recalls, “The difference between these photos is 20 months. I lost weight, and now I’m not shy about the natural structure of my hair.”

16. Once you are done with the effort, the fruit will be sweet!

via

“I lost 100 lb, and I feel great,” a common thing you hear people say who have achieved their target weight. The change in your appearance and the way you look at yourself will make you feel much happier.

17. Keep trying until you find the right balance!

via

This girl’s story is truly inspiring. “I just didn’t like the way I looked, and men didn’t even notice me. So I decided to change myself. I wanted to look informal, flashy. I had tattoos. I dyed my hair red. I’ve tried everything. People started noticing me. A short time ago, I realized that the most important thing is to care about your appearance properly, feel good, and be a confident and interesting person. I restored my natural hair color and went to the gym. Now people see an attractive girl in me because I started feeling better myself. And the most important thing is to stop chasing people’s love. You should find harmony with yourself.”
