So, how do you stop your HDD from clicking?
You can’t. But hold on! Let us explain why.
If your HDD is clicking, it means your drive is already failing, it’s warning you before being completely dead. You should backup your data immediately as soon as possible. While quiet clicking is normal, but if you are hearing loud clicks or banging or screeching sounds, it’s not normal at all.
What you should do?
Download Crystal Disk info or HDD sentinel on your pc and check for any S.M.A.R.T. errors. Modern disks are equipped with S.M.A.R.T. which tracks how many errors the disk has encountered while operating, Power on hours, power on count etc. and so on. if your disk shows an error, please shut down your system and don’t turn it on until you find a backup solution.
What you shouldn’t do?

Don’t just believe any YouTube junk which tells you to open your HDD. Because the moment you would open it, the drive will be already dead (If you have no experience in repairing HDD, to repair them you have to be inside a controlled environment), and not even HDD manufacturers would be able to repair it.
