The Bollywood celebrities made it big with winning the 20th edition of the prestigious awards by the IIFA (International Indian Film Academy Awards). The audience witnessed breathtaking performances by Katrina Kaif, Vicky Kaushal, Ranveer Singh & others along with happy faces of their favorite stars from Alia Bhatt to Sara Ali Khan.

  The film with patriotic fervor, Raazi was titled as the Best Film while it’s actress bagged the Best Actress award for playing the role of a spy in the espionage drama. “The fact that you are all sitting here past 02:00 AM & watching us honored means you all love cinema & that’s why we continue to do what we are doing”, the elated actress remarked.

The historical period drama, Padmavat had 10 nominations while it’s actor Ranveer Singh was acclaimed the Best Actor award for playing the villainous role so well.

  The celebration of completing 20 years of IIFA Awards was marked by presenting special awards to Deepika Padukone for Best Actress for Chennai Express & to Ranbir Kapoor as Best Actor for Barfi, while the Best Director was awarded to Rajkumar Hirani for 3 Idiots.

  Vicky Kaushal who has delivered brilliance performance in Gangs of Wasseypur & Uri, The Surgical Strike, Raazi & others was awarded the Best Supporting Actor Award for Sanju – the Sanjay Dutt biopic.

The god of dance in the Bollywood, choreographer Saroj Khan was awarded for Outstanding Contribution to Indian Cinema by her student & excellent dancer Madhuri Dixit Nene who paid tribute by dancing on songs choreographed by her dance guru.
