Microsoft released new update of Windows 10 Preview build for insiders in Dev channel. This specific build of Windows 10 is offered to Dev channels with a huge update to the taskbar with ‘news & interests’ feed.

This specific feature as we used to see in Google Chrome browser will now be available on Windows taskbar with news and weather reports updates, users will also be able to personalize feed as their specific interests.

  • Just a quick glance to stay up-to-date: The ability to watch at your favourite news and updates directly on taskbar without having to open a browser. You can do this by just pressing Windows key, and be back on your work immediately without having to worry. This includes saving time much more than you did before.
  • Customizing feeds: You’ll be able to personalize your favorite content, i.e., what you like to see and what you don’t etc. You can also choose ‘more content like these’ or vice-versa.
  • You can choose what to do: If you don’t like the features of this update, you can just simply turn off these by right clicking on the taskbar.

These feature is only available in Windows 10 insiders in the US, Canada, UK, Australia & India & require you to have installed the new Edge browser. After installing the update, you’ve to simply reboot the computer to activate the feature.
